Avista

The 2025 Rebates have just been released and are set to expire at the end of February! Attic, Wall and Crawl Space insulation rebates will all be $.75 per square foot with some stipulations for eligibility.


Kootenai Electric Cooperative

Rebates for Kootenai Electric Cooperative customers are $.75 cents per square foot. There is no guarantee that funds will be available after the six-month approval or that the incentive amount will remain the same.


Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to the availability of funds.

IRS - The nonbusiness energy property credit

The Nonbusiness Energy Property Credit is aimed at homeowners installing energy efficient improvements such as insulation, new windows and furnaces. The credit is more limited than in the past years, but can still provide substantial tax savings. 

The credit can also be claimed for the cost of residential energy property, including labor costs for installation. Residential energy property includes certain high-efficiency heating and air conditioning systems, water heaters and stoves that burn biomass fuel.
